Hi,
I'm Chris (Boet).I was born in Zimbabwe where I lived until the age
of 25. In 2000 I relocated to Queensland, Australia with my parents.
I have one older sister and
one younger sister. All my family now reside in New South Wales, Australia
or New Zealand.I
chose to remain in Queensland with my wonderful girlfriend Christine.
In May 2003 I proposed to Christine and we had plans of getting married
in October 2004. Unfortunately on
19 January 2004 at the age of 29, I was officially diagnosed with a
very rare form of cancer. Christine and I
decided to go ahead with our marriage plans bringing them forward to
February 2004. Our wedding was organised in two weeks and it was one
of the best days of my life. We have just celebrated our first wedding
anniversary. I am currently still fighting my battle with the cancer.
